Electronic diesel control - EDC COMPAT

The demonstration stand was designed to present the performance of the engine control system in changes of the fuel dose and the angle of injection advance, as far as the temperature, rotations and the load are concerned, and in particular:

- the fuel system presents the working of the subassemblies and the fuel dose change
- the measuring console enables easy installation of the check meters for all the system sensors and working subassemblies
- the pump drive control enables simulating the full rotational speed range from the start phase to full capacity
- the fault simulation console enables creating of breakdowns in chosen circuits and observing the reaction of the control system to the occurred condition

The demonstration stand was designed to present the performance of the engine control system in changes of the fuel dose and the advance angle, as far as the temperature, the rotational speed, the load and many parameters more are concerned.

- the welI-developed fuel system enables measurement of the pressure parameters and the fuel pump delivery, as well as presentation of the effects accompanying the pumping of the fuel
- the measuring console enables installation of the check meters for a the system sensors and working subassemblies
- the ignition system enables observation of a change of the advance angle in a stroboscopic way or by comparing the signals of the crank and ignition coil position sensors
- the system enables observation of the fuel injection impulse and measurement of its duration while changing the basic parameters
- the fault simulation console enables creating of breakdowns in chosen circuits and observing the reaction of the control system to the occurred condition
- the system enables self-diagnosis with the aid of the flash code of the system control

Set of Automotive Electronic System Sensors

The demonstration stand is designed for laboratory exercises measuring the signals and developing the characteristics of sensors used in electronic engine control systems.

The stand enables:
- measuring the parameters of the absolute pressure sensors
- measuring e parameters of the crank position sensor
- measuring the sensors of linear and angular displacements, the knock sensor and the vehicle speed sensors
- demonstration of the ignition point depending on the polarity of the input signal

D-JETRONIC Compact

The demonstration stand was designed to present the performance of the D-JETRONIC mono-point injection engine system and the MULTEC electronic determination of the advance angle; as well as to present the control of the engine system in changes of the fuel dose and the advance angle, as far as the temperature, the rotational speed, the load and many parameters more are concerned.

- the simplified fuel system enables observation of the pressure parameters and others
- the microprocessor type distributor ignition system enables observation of a change of the advance angle in a stroboscopic way or by comparing the signal of the crank position with other signals
- the system enables observation of the fuel injection impulse and measurement of its duration while changing the basic parameters
- the system enables presentation of breakdowns in chosen circuits and observing the reaction of the control system to the occurred condition
- the system enables self-diagnosis with the aid of the flash code of the system control

KE-MOTRONIC Fuel Injection System

The demonstration stand presents the working of the Hall effect contactless ignition system and the KE-MOTRONIC fuel injection system affected by the system parameters' changes.

- the Hall effect contactless and distributor ignition system enables observation of a change of the advance angle in a stroboscopic way or with the aid of a diagnoscope
- the well-developed fuel system enables measurement of the fuel pressure parameters and a presentation of the effects accompanying the pumping of the fuel
- the measuring console enables easy installation of the check meters for the system sensors of the working subassemblies
- the system enables easy understanding of the discussed problems through practical demonstration of the working and measurements of the current parameters.

ABS/ASR Brake Power Control System

The demonstration stand presents the working of the automatic brake power system ABS and the anti-slip regulation system ASR in motor vehicles with the aid of a microprocessor controller.
It enables measurement of the following signals:

- the tension of four different rotational speed sensors
- the characteristics of the tension from the sensors depending on the gap width for specified rotation speed
- the depth of the amplitude modulation of the sensors' signal being a result of whipping of the toothed ring in function of the gap width
- the pressure value in the hydraulic circuits (in the brake master cylinder or after a correction made by the ABS/ASR system).

Dual Circuit Braking System

The demonstration stand presents the working of a typical servo-assisted hydraulic brake system. The stand is constructed in a form of a closed case made from aluminium profiles and plastic panels. The case is located on a mobile frame made of light steel profiles. The whole steel frame is powder painted.
The stand enables:

- full simulation of the working of the servo-assisted brake system
- observation of the influence of the brake assist on the working of the braking system
- measurement of the pressure of hydraulic fluid in different points of the system
- measurement of the pneumatic pressure produced by the servo-assisted brake mechanism

SRS Airbag System

The demonstration stand presents the system's construction and enables evaluation of its parameters. The elements of a typical SRS system are: a system controller, a frontal airbag, a passenger's airbag, side airbags, tensioners and sensors of side crashes.
The fault simulation console enables creating of breakdowns in chosen circuits and observing the reaction of the control system to the occurred condition.
The used subassemblies enable conducting a diagnosis of the SRS system and the modern control panel where the SRS airbag system warning lamp is located.
The stand is equipped with an engine diagnostic connector for installing of diagnostic devices, which enable reading and erasing of breakdown codes and current parameters, control of the control panel's indicators and many functions more

Air-Conditioning

The demonstration stand presents the construction and working of the comfort zone system, i.e. the air condition system of the vehicle interior.
The stand enables measurement of the key parameters of the system, such as the pressure and temperature in the thermodynamic cycle, the working of the air stream direction mechanisms and the diagnosis of the electronic control system.
The compressor is powered by a single-phase motor (230V)

CAN BUS in the Comfort System

The demonstration stand presents the working of the comfort system based on data transfer done with the aid of CAN BUS.
It enables measurement of the following signals:

- to make a diagnosis of the system through the OBD2 connector, which is connected to the main controller.
- the electric input and output signals from the controller have been brought out in a form of banana plugs for quick measurement of their parameters.
- there is a possibility of changing the mode of lock and alarm controlling by a new coding of the controller.
